Authentication

Authentication allows the Admin to view the possible ways of login to Pellustro for a particular license and the possible settings can also be viewed inside the container of the possible login sections if any present for that particular section. Admin can also enable or disable the use of MFA (Multi-factor Authentication for Admins) only for the admins which are in read-only mode.

Possible Settings for Login Section

Possible settings can be viewed inside the container for the possible login section if there is any setting present for that section. Settings in container are read-only mode, it can't be modified.

• Password Strength : 5 levels of length and complexity variations are supported.
  • None: Non-empty
  • Low: min length of 6
  • Fair: min 8 in length; contain at least 3 character types-lower case alphabets,upper case alphabets, numbers
  • Good: min 8 in length; contain at least 3 of the character types-lower case alphabets, upper case alphabets, numbers, special characters (!@#$%^&)

• Use Password History : Pellustro shall maintain password history for each user and prevent the reuse of passwords include in the history. Number of last passwords that can't be used can also be set. s include in the history. Number of last passwords that can't be used can also be set. 
• Use Password Dictionary : Do not allow 10,000 most common passwords that are part of the password dictionary.
• Use Personal Data : Do not allow passwords that contain any part of the user's personal data including user name, first part of the user email.
• Force Password Reset : This forces the user to change the password in a particular interval of time.
